Parties

These terms are a contract between the subscribing clinic and Northlight Technologies Ltd (company number 17513274, registered in England and Wales), trading as Unmist ("Unmist", "we", "us"). The registered office address is published in the Privacy Policy, section 01. Invoices and receipts are issued in the company's name.

What Verified is — and is not

Unmist Verified is a subscription through which an authorised clinic can provide updates to agreed parts of its existing Unmist factsheet (bio, team context, treatments and devices, booking link, a short statement), receive a "Clinic-confirmed profile" badge indicating the source of those fields, and receive a monthly activity summary. Updates are handled by email; there is no self-service dashboard at launch.

Verified is not an endorsement, rating, ranking, recommendation or safety assessment by Unmist. It never changes where a clinic appears in search results, which remain ordered by distance or alphabetically for every clinic. Where Unmist publishes regulator information, it is sourced from official registers or from evidence meeting our published verification standard. Clinics cannot edit those public-register findings.

Who may subscribe

The subscription may be taken only by the clinic named on the factsheet, or a person authorised to act for it. By subscribing you confirm you have that authority. Unmist may ask for reasonable evidence (for example, an email from the clinic’s own domain) and may suspend the subscription while authority is in doubt.

Fees, billing and cancellation

The subscription fee, billing period and any promotional pricing are as shown at checkout at the time you subscribe. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not see or store card details.

You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. On cancellation any independently published factsheet remains free, the badge and clinic-authored additions are removed, and the factsheet reverts to its public-record version.

If your business customer status entitles you to statutory cancellation rights, nothing in these terms reduces them.

Your content: accuracy warranty

Everything you add or edit through Verified ("Clinic Content") is your statement, published at your request. You warrant that Clinic Content is accurate, not misleading, and kept up to date; that qualifications, registrations and memberships you list are genuinely held; and that treatments and devices you list are genuinely offered at the named location.

Unmist may label Clinic Content as provided by the clinic, and does not independently verify it.

Your content: advertising-law compliance

Clinic Content is your advertising. You warrant that it complies with all rules that apply to advertising by clinics, including the CAP Code and MHRA rules — in particular the prohibition on promoting prescription-only medicines to the public (for example, botulinum toxin brand names such as "Botox", or weight-loss POM brand names). Use generic treatment names instead. Unmist’s editing tools may reject content containing such names; the responsibility for compliance remains yours.

Licence

You grant Unmist a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, format, excerpt and display Clinic Content on the factsheet and in Unmist features that reference it (for example search results and comparisons), for as long as the subscription is active.

Our right to edit, remove or suspend

Unmist may decline, edit for format, or remove any Clinic Content that appears inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with these terms or with Unmist’s published methodology; and may suspend or terminate the subscription (with a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period) if the clinic materially breaches these terms. Where practical we will tell you first and give you the chance to correct.

Public-record data stays independent

Register data (CQC, GMC, GDC and similar), press-mention counts for non-Verified surfaces, and every other public-record element of the factsheet remain sourced and refreshed by Unmist independently of the subscription. Subscribing does not entitle a clinic to alter, delay or suppress public-record information. Errors can be reported through the corrections process, which is free and identical for every clinic.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, Unmist’s total liability to a subscribing clinic in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by that clinic in that period; and Unmist is not liable for loss of profits, business or goodwill, or for the acts of patients or third parties.

You will indemnify Unmist against claims arising from Clinic Content you supplied, including claims that it was inaccurate, misleading or in breach of advertising rules.

Data protection

Each party is an independent controller of the personal data it processes. Personal data in Clinic Content (for example, named team members) is published at the clinic’s request; the clinic warrants it has informed the individuals concerned. Unmist’s processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Activity counts in the monthly summary are aggregate and anonymous.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice by email; continued subscription after the notice period is acceptance. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stand. These terms, the checkout summary and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for the Verified subscription; the general Terms of Use continue to apply to use of the site.
